Paddleability is about making canoeing as inclusive as possible. The sessions allow you to exercise, build your confidence, boost concentration, have fun and make new friends. Photos and video of previous sessions are available on the club facebook page.

Impact on Disability Canoeing Award

We appreciate the dedication and commitment of club members, volunteers and coaches to the paddleability project.
Canoe Foundation sponsored Impact on Disability Canoeing Award presented by Pat Mahoney, Paracanoe Gold World Champion and ICF Paracanoeist of the Year, at the Canoe England Volunteer & Recognition Awards 2011

Our club has worked with disability organisations and local authorities to encourage people with disabilities to try canoeing and kayaking.
We are grateful for the funding we received from the Community Foundation for Surrey and Spelthorne Borough Council to run 15 free pool and river sessions in Surrey during 2011.
The sessions are suitable for adults, young people, family members and personal assistants. All equipment and coaching is provided. All coaches have attended a Disability Awareness Course and Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Course.
Paddlers who are interested in competition can develop their skills and take part in Paracanoe sprint races at regional, national and international level as well as prepare for selection for the Rio Paralympics 2016.

2013 Membership rate: £35 per year
It includes the use of boats, equipment, coaching
and insurance.
